Oklahoma City, Ok (Weokie Building)
downstairs conference room
The Last Saturday Group is a moderated group discussion on various subjects related to entrepreneurship, innovation, and Intellectual Property.
We will view/watch the USPTO’s Computer Based Training for Basic Inventor Training, which can lead to a certificate and qualification for inventors to take part in the USPTO’s pro bono referral program. After watching the online videos, there will be time for discussions and questions.
Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.
In the February meeting (2/23), we will start a guided book study of the newest edition of Patent It Yourself (8/31/2012, Sixteenth Edition), which should include changes due to the AIA (first to file, etc.). This may run about 3 months, depending on the how fast the group wants to progress.
Franklin Gray Patents, LLC, and ten04pm.com will be sponsoring these gatherings, so there will be no cost the attendees. Attendance will be limited to about 20 (capacity of the room), so we are giving OIC a head start on reserving spots. We will distribute flyers to libraries and colleges in late December, so please encourage any OIC members who are interested to RSVP quickly.
